This prestigious house located in a desirable coastal suburb was in need of an updated entertaining area. The clients wanted something simple, with easy upkeep.

The expansive new decking was stained in a contemporary ‘silver birch’ for a soft, modern look which is in keeping with the coastal location. The black fascia boards and trimmings frame the decking area and enhance the new look. The tired fence has been replaced with new horizontal batten screens, in keeping with the modernised look of the decking area. The screen provides privacy whilst also letting light seep through. Facing west, this versatile space catches the sun well into the evening, lending itself to being the perfect spot for both relaxing on a sun-lounger and hosting dinner parties.
