This garden is set on a tricky sloping site overlooking natural bushland. The client’s brief was to rejuvenate a pool area, no longer used by the grown family, into a usable entertaining area. Neutral paving and stairs were installed and a gazebo erected to provide seating and shelter.
The relaxed look was achieved using a pallet of low-maintenance planting that complemented the structural shapes and contours of the sloping site. Feature native Tree Ferns with low-voltage spot-lighting added a stunning point of interest and shade to the more delicate under-planting.
The sound of the fountain further enhanced this harmonious design and relaxed outdoor bush setting. The beautiful Gardenia flowers that surround the central paving, combined with perfumed Murraya hedging, make for spring months filled with sweet aromas and stunning white flowers.
